About / Über: Leika Morgenstund

geboren 1987 in Lettland, 

hat Leika Morgenstund vor kurzem ihr Studium an der Rijksakademie in Amsterdam abgeschlossen. 

Im September 2013 hat Leika uns an unserem Stand auf der BERLINER LISTE besucht. Kurz darauf 

wurde sie loses Mitglied von FAKE und Echt. 

Leika hat einen jüdisch christlichen Familienhintergrund. Bevor sie mit Ihrem Studium an der Rijksakademie begann, lebte sie für einige Jahre im Mittleren Osten.

Für die BERLINER LISTE 2014 stellte sie ihre Arbeit Kunstmesse vor. 

Born 1987 in Lativa, 

Leika Morgenstund just graduated from Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. 

In September 2013 Leika visited us at our booth at BERLINER LISTE. Shortly afterwards she became 

an associate of FAKE and Echt. 

Leika has a jewish-christian background. Before she started her academic education at Rijksakademie she lived in the Middle East for some years.

At BERLINER LISTE 2014 she presented 'Kunstmesse',  her work about contemporary art fairs.

During BERLINER LISTE 2014 these 99 canvases and frames will be shown to the public for the first time.

Initially they will be piled up in order of origin to the height of about 2,50 m.

During the opening hours of the art fair each of them will have about 20 minutes to present itself as an individual to the world (in reversed order of appearance). After that they all become part of the large pile again.

Give them a warm welcome.

99 bearbeitete Leinwände gleichen Formats, entstanden zwischen Herbst 2009 und Juli 2014, werden auf der BERLINER LISTE 2014 nun zum ersten Mal gezeigt.

Zunächst als Stapel von ungefähr 2,50 m Höhe aufgeschichtet, bekommt im Verlauf der Messe nacheinander jedes Werk aus dem Stapel, in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge ihrer Entstehung, 20 Minuten Zeit, um sich der Welt als individuelles Werk zu präsentieren, bevor es erneut Teil des großen Stapels wird.

Die Leinwände bitten um Ihre geschätzte Aufmerksamkeit.

Auch dieses Jahr werden wir mit dem FAKE und Echt gallery store während der
berlin art week wieder an der BERLINER LISTE teilnehmen.
